Tribute site needs support

Have your say

MACMILLAN Cancer Support have launched a new site where you can celebrate the life of a loved one with a Macmillan tribute fund, and you will also support other people with cancer and their families.

It’s very easy to create a personal tribute page for a loved one. All you need is a valid e-mail address to register to the site.

One of Macmillan supporters said: “In 2008 I lost my mum to cancer. She was looked after by a Macmillan nurse during her final weeks, so I saw the great work Macmillan does. I started fund-raising to give something back. I’ve taken part in the Great North Run, organised golf events and raised more than £20,000. My dad always says how proud my mum would be.”

Macmillan Cancer Support provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

We’ve set ourselves an impressive ambition. Our primary goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer. To help, add to a tribute fund and change the lives of people affected by cancer today go to www.tributefunds.macmillan.org.uk

If you need any more information or help setting up a site, please don’t hesitate to contact the local fundraising office on (0191) 214 5444, or e-mail erichardson@macmillan.org.uk
