AS the league heads into the last part of the season, there is still everything to play for in the league and knockout competitions.
The knockout singles and doubles have now reached finals nights while the three-a-side are at the semi-final stage.

In the premier league, Spring A tightened their grip on pole position with a resounding 8-1 victory at the Redburn, King Street had
a free week, while North Arms B welcomed the Piper and will be comfortable with their 6-3 win.

The Berkeley travelled to Seahorse B and squeezed past the home team with a 5-4 win while Black Horse made the short trip to Residence A and left with the same 5-4 score.

Finally Spring Gardens B managed to pip Blake again 5-4 in the final premier game of the night in North Shields.

In the first division there were 6-3 wins for Hunting Lodge when hosting the Station, North Arms A at the Fat Ox and probably more significantly PJ's at home to the Albert A.

The Residence B travelled to Earsdon and left the Red Lion with a sneaky 5-4 win while Beaumont continued their charge up the table with an 8-1 win at home to VI's.

So in the premier league, Spring A lead the way with 177 followed by the Seahorse A on 159 and King Street on 158 while PJ's retake top spot in the first division on 163, a point – and game – more than the Albert B.

The Residence B lie third on 150, some way behind the front runners.
