IN its 20th year of existence, Whitley Bay Churches FC has received a donation from a local doctor.
North Tyneside General Hospital's Dr Madhu Rana, consultant anaesthetist, has kindly donated £250 towards playing equipment for the club.

The 2008-09 season will be the 20th season that Whitley Bay Churches FC has played in the North East Christian Fellowship League.

Manager Geoff Noble said: "This is a real bonus and will help for the coming seasons.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Rana for his support."

Anyone interested in playing for Whitley Bay Churches FC should contact Mr Noble on 07772 933807.
