WHITLEY Warriors preparations for the coming season are still making good progress.
Six more names have been added to the roster and coach Simon Leach is confident of adding a few more very shortly.

It is not only on the ice that additions are being made, as joining Simon on the bench will be Gary Wood and also Stephen Foster, as netminder coach.

Gary has spent his hockey career with the Hillheads setup and is a very experienced coach from junior level upwards.

Stephen is a Durham legend and has played at the highest level with Durham and Great Britain sides and is delighted to be involved again.

The rink itself will have a slightly different look as well.

Work has been done and indeed is still going on to renew ice barriers and the team benches, this will improve the safety of both players and spectators during games.
