TYNE MET football team claimed another three points with a superb performance against Middlesbrough.
The visitors got off to the best possible start with full back Paul Elliott playing a fantastic through ball for striker Stephen Forster to run on to and coolly finish to put his team ahead.

Middlesbrough were stunned into action and started to press Tyne Met back into their own half but the away side defended brilliantly at times, putting their bodies on the line.

After a direct ball forward from goalkeeper Phil Holgate, again Middlesbrough were caught out and Forster powered the ball home to double Tyne Met's lead.

Middlesbrough pulled one back in the second half.

However, Tyne Met defended heroically and remained cool and calm to see out a fantastic win.

Man of the match Lee Fairley.
