Wallsend side take league title

WALLSEND Community FC U14 ended the season on a high, being crowned NABC Division Three league champions, playing their way to a semi-final and the County Cup Final.
This has been their second consecutive championship in the NABC and the third year they have been promoted.
Manager and coach Mark Hindmarch said: "The lads have shown dedication and commitment all season and deserved to go all the way.
"We've had a fantastic season, playing some excellent football and scoring some cracking goals.
"Well done lads, you should be proud of yourselves."
He also thanked Bob Patterson, from Silverline taxis, for sponsoring Wallsend Community FC.
