Bay face series of away games

ON Saturday, Whitley Bay FC are in north west Durham to play Tow Law Town for the second time in five days.

Then on Tuesday, April 20, Whitley return to Hillheads for what will be their last home game of the season, when they take on South Shields (kick-off 7.30pm) in what is always a keenly contested local derby.

With Paul Chow recovering from the sprained ankle he suffered against Ashington, Whitley will be relying on Glen Taylor and Lee Mason to take the forward roles alongside Lee Kerr in the next few games.

The last five league games of the season are all away from home, so in the build up to Wembley, Bay fans will be on their travels to West Allotment on Good Friday, Jarrow Roofing on Easter Monday, followed by Billingham Town, Spennymoor Town and finally Newcastle Benfield on May Day Bank Holiday Monday.
