WHITLEY Bay FC will be on their travels on the opening day of the 2012-13 season.
The Seahorses area way to Billingham Town on Saturday, August 18.
Following their trip to Teesside, Bay’s first home game is on the Tuesday evening, August 21, when Ashington will be the visitors to Hillheads.
As always, early season fixtures are subject to alteration due to FA Cup and FA Vase ties, but on Saturday, August 25, Bay are due to travel to new FA Vase holders Dunston UTS before a scheduled visit Carlisle on Tuesday, September 11, to play the former Gillford Park, who, following a sponsorship deal, will now be known as Celtic Nation FC.
Durham City, who have returned to the Northern League, visit Hillheads on September 22, while demoted Darlington are scheduled to visit on Saturday, April 6.
The Hillheads side’s first competitive game will be in the extra preliminary pound of the FA Cup, which will be played on Saturday, August 11.
The draw has been made for the first two rounds of the Brooks Mileson Memorial League Cup and Whitley are at Norton & Stockton Ancients in the first round.
The winners will be at home to Consett or Newton Aycliffe.
The league has new sponsors and for the next five years will be known as the Ebac Northern League.
