WHITLEY Bay Boys’ Club Blacks extended their unbeaten run to six games with a comfortable victory over KYPC Wolves Blue, who they had narrowly beaten in the cup only a few weeks prior.

The match started evenly before the Blacks took control with three goals in four minutes.

First Maddison found space before rifling the ball in off the post before moments later Perry scored from 30 yards with a thunderous drive.

Rawlinson added the third following another good passage of play.

Perry notched his second before the end of a half in which Wills and Dunn at the back dealt comfortably with the Wolves’ attacks.

The Blacks continued where they left off in the second half, Kennedy and Maddison quickly adding goals to make the game safe.

Smith in the Blacks’ goal made a couple of fantastic saves and Armstrong went close on a number of occasions before Kennedy and Diamond added further goals to round off the Blacks’ best performance of the season.
