A FOOTBALL facility has been officially ‘accredited’ by the Football Association.
Officials at Complete Football, based at Gosforth Park in Newcastle, are celebrating the award of the Small Sided Football Accreditation.
Since being established in 2007, it has delivered small sided football to the area and is a hub centre for grassroots football development with close links with local grassroots clubs, Newcastle United Foundation and TyneMet College.
Complete Football had to prove the high quality of their Small Sided Football operations to The FA through an extensive assessment and quality assurance process.
Simon Walker, FA national manager for adult grassroots football, said: “It takes a great deal of self-evaluation and determination to earn the FA Small Sided Football Accreditation.
“Applicants must not only meet specific standards of excellence, but their management, and staff, must make a commitment to on-going improvement to ensure a continued delivery of high-quality small sided football to their customers.”
Andrew Lau, general manager at Complete Football, said: “We are delighted to receive this award from the Football Association.
“It is a fantastic way to further enhance our commitment to all of our customers and players.
“Every employee has paid a part and they are a real credit to our organisation. Continuing our fantastic partnership with the local and national FA will only enable us to develop and support the grassroots game for future years.”
