A tricky fixture in North Yorkshire awaits Whitley Bay on Saturday when they take on sixth placed Guisborough Town.
The hosts were the surprise package of the league last season, finishing fourth, but they lost their two prolific strikers during the summer but are still a force to be reckoned with, despite a modest home record which has seen them win just four of ten games at the King George V Stadium.
Whitley will be looking for a morale boosting performance after the disappointment of defeats in their last two games, and they will have a the support of a full coach load of fans from the supporters’ club.
This will be Whitley’s final game before their FA Vase clash at Bedlington on November 1.
Whitley Bay FC are staging a fireworks display at the ground on Wednesday, November 5.
Gates open at 6.30pm with the display getting under way at 7.30pm.
Food and drink will be on sale during the evening and additional entertainment is also planned.
Admission is £3 and tickets are now available from the club.
