AFTER a two-week break Wallsend Labour FC were back to their winning ways in the second round of the Challenge Shield.

Johnny Ellis started the scoring off in the 80 win over Ryton Social and he managed to grab himself a second goal later on.

Youngster Gary Farrage also managed to get a brace, along with top scorer Channon North. One of North’s was also a penalty.

Last season’s top scorer Jimmy Anderson grabbed his second goal of the season and Michael McMullen also found the net.

McMullen received the man of the match award, his second award of the season so far.
