More signings boost Bay

WHITLEY Bay FC have confirmed that keeper Kyle Hayes has committed himself to the club for another two years.

The keeper will now be part of the Seahorses set up until May 2013.

Another player staying with the club is Darren Timmons.

Timmons did sign for Blyth Spartans last week, however he will be a Whitley Bay player next season, and be registered at Blyth for emergency cover.

Further additions to the squad ahead of the new campaign include former Bay player Lee Paul Scroggins, who has been brought in from South Shields.

The attacking midfielder also signed in the same week as Kris Hughes joined Whitley Bay, a winger from Jarrow Roofing.
