NEWCASTLE United goalkeeper Steve Harper believes the Magpies’ Premier League campaign has been a fantastic achievement.
And he is tipping team-mates young goalkeeper Tim Krul and skipper Fabricio Coloccini to finish the season on a high.
The Easington born shot-stopper, who was taking part in the second annual Sir Bobby Robson Foundation golf day, has backed the Toon to still be right up there challenging for a Champions’ League spot on the final day of the season against Everton.
Harper also paid tribute to the management and leadership of Alan Pardew, who was not a popular appointment with many in the Toon Army after the sacking of the popular Chris Hughton.
And the former No. 1 believes that having stability at the club has made all the difference to this season.
