North Shields Amazons Girls U12s have continued the season where they left off with more success on the pitch.
The team is closing in on both league and cup success following a difficult first season which sees the side recognised as one of the best passing football teams in the area.
Under the guidance of coach Ross Thomas, the girls have developed their technique every week and base their philosophy around hard work and friendship.
A club spokesperson said: “Respect and long term development is at the core of the team’s ethos, with the majority of the players having been with the club since the start, and those that have joined quickly picking up in the style of play required.”
The team say they are looking forward to progressing further thanks to the new 4G facility at John Spence Community High School now open.
