North Shields’ league campaign set to start at Seaham Red Star

North Shields FC will begin the new season with an FA Cup extra preliminary round tie.

The game, the draw for which is due to be made in July, is scheduled for Saturday, August 6.

The Robins’ Ebac Northern League campaign gets under way on Tuesday, August 9 with a trip to Seaham Red Star.

They then travel to Chester-le-Street on Saturday, August 13, before making their home bow on Wednesday, august 17, when Washington are the visitors to the Daren Persson Stadium.

The trip to local rivals Whitley Bay is scheduled for the bank holiday weekend, Saturday, August 27, with the Seahorses heading to Shields on Saturday, February 11, for the return fixture.

Another two mouthwatering games will be the trip over the Tyne to division two champions South Shields on Saturday, November 5, before the Mariners head in the opposite direction on Saturday, April 8.
