Goals from Craig Boyle and San Millington gave North Shields Athletic three points as they beat Whitley Bay A. The result takes Athletic up into third spot.

Ethan Bewley struck twice in Ponteland United’s victory over Newcastle University. Gary Cook got the other with James Golby striking a consolation.

Northumberland FA Senior Benevolent Bowl

Wallington went into the semi-finals with an extra-time win over Shankhouse. Matty Blackith’s first-half opener for the Greens was cancelled out by a Russell Ward penalty with just three minutes to go, but Kyle Reardon popped up with a tidy, curled finish to put the Oakford Park outfit through to a last-four meeting at Walker Central.
