TYNEMET College travelled to Bishop Auckland and completed their under-18 league programme in style.
On a heavy pitch due to non stop rain, TyneMet found their feet and passing game to score goals on ten and 15 minutes, both finished by the razor sharp Daniel Young.
More quick-thinking put Jack McDougal through on goal to make it 3-0 while the fourth followed just before half-time when Liam Taylor calmly slotted his shot past the Bishop’s keeper.
Bishop Auckland scored after 50 minutes and were then awarded a penalty.
However, the spot kick was blasted over the bar.
TyneMet added further goals, with Elliot Dixon, Young – completing his hat-trick – Taylor and Adam Perrie, who superbly chipped the goalkeeper to make it 8-1 all on target.
