Hazlerigg Victory maintained top spot with a second consecutive 8-1 success, this time against Newcastle Chemfica Reserves.

Dale Pearson celebrated a hat-trick, and there were further strikes from Sean Bates, Jack Bates, Alex Patterson and Louis Sneddon. David Jones scored the Chemfica consolation.

Stobswood Welfare ensured they remain just two points behind with a game in hand, after going nap against Newcastle Medicals. Jacob Baker, Luke Phillips, Brandon Douglas and Jack Henderson were on the scoresheet along with an own goal.

Bedlington Juniors shared the spoils with unbeaten West Jesmond in a 1-1 draw. Darren Percy scored for the home side, who remain third in the table, while Stephen Callaghan scored for Jesmond, who sit sixth.

Fourth placed Forest Hall YPC also had to settle for a point as they drew 1-1 at Blyth Town Reserves, who are seventh. Brandon Nadeem netted for Town, with Ben Sullivan on target for Forest Hall.

Gosforth Bohemian Reserves are up to fifth after a 4-1 win at Lindisfarne Custom Planet Reserves, with their goals coming from David Hodgson, Jon Paul Bradley, Stephen Salter and Kevin Turnbull.

Wardley moved into the next round of the Durham FA Minor Cup with a 3-2 win against Tyne View, with their goals coming from Jordan Flynn and Chris Wilson (2).

Meanwhile, North Shields Athletic Reserves unfortunately dropped out of the Northumberland FA Minor Cup after a 5-1 loss at Ponteland United, with Leeroy Odd netting their sole strike.
