THE FA Carlsberg Vase was drawn at lunchtime and four times winners Whitley Bay will play a fellow Northern League outfit.
Their opponents will be decided on Tuesday night when Jarrow Roofing take on Norton & Stockton Ancients after their scheduled game on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
It is the first match for Whitley Bay in this season’s competition.
After winning the trophy three years in success they were knocked out last year to West Auckland, who went on to lose in the final by Dunston UTS.
Other ties for the second round proper include Ashington hosting Sunderland RCA and Bedlington Terriers against Wigan Robin Park. Morpeth Town FC will travel to Winsford.
All ties are scheduled to be played on Saturday, November 17.
