Whitley Bay play their final away game of the season – their fifth consecutive on the road – when they make the short journey across the Tyne to take on seventh top Jarrow Roofing on Saturday.
The trip to the Boldon CA ground will have special significance for Bay fans as club legend Paul Chow is now in the Jarrow ranks and will be playing against his former club for the first time since moving back to his home town team in February.
He is guaranteed a warm reception from the anticipated large Bay following who will be hoping that on this occasion the man who scored 270 goals for Whitley does not feature on the score sheet.
Paddy Atkinson’s side have been beset with injuries in recent weeks but the boss will be hoping that Robbie Bird has recovered from the dead-leg he suffered in the 3-0 reverse at North Shields last week.
Whitley Bay have announced that for their final game of the season, against Crook Town on Saturday, April 25, there will be free admission to Hillheads for all under 16s who are accompanied by an adult.
