After playing two home games in four days, Whitley Bay are back on the road this weekend when they travel to Teesside to face Billingham Synthonia.
The Synners are one point below Whitley in mid-table having played one more game, which would suggest that a close game can be expected.
With Craig McFarlane back after suspension and only Chris Reid still out injured, Leon Ryan will have the luxury of choosing from an almost full strength squad.
And he will be hopeful of another three points which would see Whitley climb further up the table.
Tuesday evening then provides a tough test when Whitley make the journey to West Auckland, a side under new management and in good form after a shaky start to the season.
The draw for the first round of the Northumberland Senior Cup was made at the weekend and having reached the semi-final last season, Whitley have been given a bye to the next round, along with holders Newcastle Reserves, Blyth and Ashington.
