TYNEMOUTH Yellows completed the double over Cramlington United with a 7-4 at the weekend.
The Yellows started strongly with Oliver Harrison capitalising on a defensive mix-up to nudge the ball over the line.
But Cramlington hit back and drew level shortly afterwards.
Thomas Edwards, whose pace and trickery down the right wing was causing the visitors no end of problems, put the Yellows 2-1 up in the seventh minute.
As the game settled down, Cramlington equalised for the second time on ten minutes.
Tynemouth regained the lead on 20 minutes through Luca Buzzeo’s right foot volley on the turn from ten yards out before Buzzeo turned provider to set Harrison through, who rounded the keeper to score.
The Yellows dominance in the second half was rewarded when Harrison completed his hat-trick, his first of the season, with a powerful shot.
Another defensive mix-up from the visitors allowed Jamie Wills to score.
Cramlington continued to claw their way back into the game and pulled one back through a penalty before Buzzeo scored his second of the game.
With ten minutes of the game remaining, Cramlington pulled another goal back through a long range effort.
