Cup holders progress into last four of competition

COMBINATION Cup holders Wallsend Labour made it through to the last four of the competition with another convincing win at the weekend against a much-improved Bay Horse side.

New signing Robert Hodgson showed his worth with a brace and also received the man of the match award.

Mick McMullen kept up his goalscoring exploits with Wallsend’s other goal, his 15th goal of the season so far, as they ran out 3-1 winners.
