Eric Smart from Whitley Bay crosses the line to win his second major 90m veteran sprint handicap title within a month.
BRITISH sprint champion Eric Smart, from Whitley Bay, has won his second major 90m veteran sprint handicap title within a month.
The Wallsend Harrier sprinter raided the Scottish track at Pitreavie in Fife and came away with £250 first prize and The Pitreavie Blue Sash.
The News Guardian recently reported that Eric won the 90m veteran sprint handicap Title at The New Year Sprint meeting at Musselburgh near Edinburgh.
His next target is to compete at the World Master Athletic Championships in Jyvaskyla, Finland, in April, where he will take part in is favourite event the 200m.
