Games wiped out by the frost

ONCE again the weather was the only winner at the weekend in the Standard Security Blyth and Wansbeck Sunday League.

The heavy frost caused teams to cancel their fixtures on Saturday night.

Next week will see Bedlington Community try to play their County Minor Cup against league rivals North Shields Royal Arms.

Clubs should check the website for fixture changes for next week.

In addition, clubs are reminded that the league meeting is on Monday, February 13, at 8pm.
