Battlehill Judo Club is offering an introductory judo course available to young people aged between 14 and 25.
Funding from the course has been provided by Sportivate, a £56m lottery funded London 2012 legacy project.
The six weeks of coaching will see participants work towards an event or personal challenge and when the coaching has finished they will be supported to continue participating in the sport.
The club is looking for students to take part in the introductory judo course, to be held at Churchill Community College, Churchill Street, Wallsend, on a Wednesday evening over a six week period.
Students will be provided with British Judo Insurance and all equipment necessary.
Anyone interested should contact head coach Malcolm Young 4th Dan by email email@example.com or telephone 07803 745184.
