WHITLEY Arrows won at Blackburn Hawks in their first under-12s division two fixture.
Numerically the two teams were evenly matched, but it became clear early on that the hosts were young and inexperienced.
James Hellens opened the scoring after 39 seconds and that was quickly followed by a second from man of the match Jake Roberts – who went on to score another four.
Scarlett Kane scored her first of five goals as an Arrow with assists from Jason Taylor and captain Jamie Ord.
The Arrows then went on to score another ten unanswered goals in the first period with the goals shared by Hellens, Roberts, Kane and Ord.
Oscar Hutchinson was relatively untroubled in the Arrows goal.
At the start of the second the Arrows added three more through Hellens and Ord before Ryan Healy got in on the act.
The scoring was concluded with further goals from Roberts and Kane.
