Cullercoats Tennis Club’s boys 16s team remain unbeaten in the Northumberland and Durham leagues after a strong 6-0 win over Collingwood at the weekend.
Rory Thompson, Dan Simpson, James Parkin and Jacob Docx were all too strong for their opposition in a 6-0 win which takes them top of the league.
Cullercoats are looking to maintain the longest winning streak in the league’s history after winning it every year since 2007.
Cullercoats girls 14s had a tough game with Northumberland Club in the Aegon League last Sunday, going down 8-4.
Steph Black and Lydia Clark had tough singles games, as did Rachel Foreman at number one.
Foreman paired up well with Emma Charlton to win a close doubles and Charlton took a good singles win to take the end score to 8-4 to Northumberland.
