ROCKCLIFF Under-10s and Under-11s are being trained by three Newcastle Falcons stars and one RFU community coach.
These players will also be available to sign shirts, balls and photos of other age groups not included in the session.
Rockcliff have full teams all the way through from ages five to 12.
This not only gives Rockcliff’s future stars the chance to be coached by top quality professional forwards and backs coaches, but also any other children in Years 5 and 6 at school who fancy giving rugby a go and are looking for a club to join.
The event takes place on Sunday, November 6.
Simon Forster, who manages the under-11s team, said: “We are keen to promote rugby in our community, through our links with local schools, our sporting alliance with Tynemouth United and local cub/scout groups and I can think of no better way to get kids involved than to get their heroes along to the club.
“At Rockcliff we pride ourselves on encouraging and nurturing players of all experience, ability, shapes and sizes.
“It’s the only way as far as this club is concerned – rugby for all.”
If any youngster is aged between five and 12 and fancies giving rugby a go, then they should be taken along to see if they like it.
Boots, trackies and sweatshirt are all that is required, first few sessions free.
The club is located on Lovaine Avenue, just beside Marden Quarry and they train on Sundays between 10.30am and noon.
