RUGBY players have been lending a hand to a new funding initiative.

Players aged six to 50 at Rockcliff RFC have been having their handprints put on ceramic tiles to help fund the new changing rooms.

The club has more than 100 people who want to be part of the history of the club, including one ex-player now living in Dubai who will have his print done the next time he is home, helping to raise £750 towards the changing rooms.

All the tiles are being produced by local company Hotpotz.

The club, approaching its 125th year, has thanked all the players, families and supporters who have got involved so far and are hoping more will take part in the initiative.
