Whitley Warriors will play in a seven-team NIHL North Division 1 following the withdrawal of the Telford Titans from the league set up.

Whitley will be take on local rivals Billingham Stars as well as champions Solway Sharks and Sheffield Spartans, Sutton Sting, Manchester Minotaurs and Blackburn Hawks over the league season.

There is also the possibility that Warriors will be able to take to the ice in a cup competition during the 2014-15 campaign as their regular league season is a little shorter than usual this year due to the Titans’ demise leaving the division with seven organisations.

During the last week, Warriors have also revealed the jerseys they will be icing in during the upcoming campaign.

Some of the clubs players – forward Martin Crammond, netminder Richie Lawson and alternate captain Dean Holland – took time out to attend the rink and try on their new-look shirts.

Any supporters who wish to order the new jersey can do so at the shop at the Hillheads ice rink.
