PERCY Park RFC Under-14s will contest the County Cup final for the second successive season after emphatically beating Blyth on Sunday morning.

After running in two unconverted tries, Park had to withstand a spirited Blyth resurgence before establishing a 22-10 half-time lead.

Park then scored 21 more unanswered points in a dominant second half display for a 43-10 final score.

Outside centre Kyle Sutherland and full-back Jamie Wrigley both scored two tries and Park’s other three were touched down by fly-half Ben Anderson, number eight Niall Combe and winger Alex Wright.

Anderson also kicked four conversions for a 13-point personal haul.

Park now face Northern in the final, which is set to take place at Druid Park on April 28.
