Whitley Warriors have restructured their off ice operations.
And after various meetings over the past few weeks, a new team has been formed.
As a group the club has looked at all areas and identified what is needed to make positive improvements to the organisation.
A spokesperson said: “We believe this is a very positive step in the right direction for the club, with the five-man strong team taking up specific roles to ensure we are able to help build on all areas of the club.
John Crammond will have the role of team general manager and take care of the on ice operations whilst working alongside Paul Matthews on club finance matters.
Colin Edwards will remain as club secretary, Paul Matthews will manage the club’s financial section with the assistance of John Crammond, as well as taking a role in the corporate sponsorship department and game night operations.
Simon Leach will also work within the corporate sponsorship area, game night operations and all other club projects and promotions.
Dave Holland will continue his role as assistant coach and will also represent the on ice staff also as part of the newly formed group.
The spokesperson added: “This new structure we believe will help the club maximise on all of its opportunities as all areas of the club will have staff dedicated to each specific area.
“Former GB international and Warriors Legend David Longstaff has also been recently appointed as the club’s player/coach, and further exciting news on players who will be on the club’s roster next season are set to be announced over the course of the close season.”
