Mixed martial arts fighter Andy Ogle has been receiving training sessions from GB taekwondo Olympians as he prepares for his next UFC fight.

The UFC fighter, from North Shields, joined GB Taekwondo athletes Jade Jones MBE, Lutalo Muhammad and Bianca Walkden at a one-off session held at GB Taekwondo’s training gym in Newton Heath, Manchester.

Andy said: “I’ve gained some invaluable tips from all of the GB Taekwondo Team, it’s always great to mix up my training and learn from others who are at the top of their discipline.

“My next bout on October 26 isn’t far away and I’m raring to get into the Octagon and get that win.”

Olympic bronze medallist Lutalo Muhammad said: “I’m definitely a fan of the UFC so it was great to meet with Andy and show him some kicks – I hope they come in handy for his fight this month and I’ll be watching to see if any of the Taekwondo moves come out in his bout.”
