REPORTS claim Sunderland are about to make a bid for Real Mallorca's Daniel Guiza, who is also being targeted by Manchester City and Tottenham.
A number of national newspapers claim Sunderland boss Roy Keane has identified the Spain striker as the man to solve his side's goalscoring problems.

Guiza, currently in the Spain squad at Euro 2008 and a scorer in the 3-0 sem-final victory over Russia, is valued at around the £10m mark.

The Real Mallorca star was joint top scorer in La Liga last season with 27.

Guiza's tally put him top of the Spanish scoring charts alongside Valencia hitman David Villa.

But nine of Villa's strikes came from the penalty spot while all of Guiza's goals were from open play.

Manchester City and Tottenham are also interested in the 27-year-old, who has reportedly caught the eye of Barcelona and Roma.

The Spanish star looked set to join Turkish side Fenerbahce, but his agent put the move on ice after several clubs expressed an interest.
