Only a few tickets remain for a five-piece band who will be on stage at The Playhouse, Whitley Bay as part of the Mouth of the Tyne Festival.
The Temperance Movement will be performing on Thursday, July 7.
Based in London and Glasgow, The Temperance Movement are a five-piece band featuring frontman Phil Campbell, bassist Nick Fyffe, guitarists Paul Sayer and Matt White, and drummer Damon Wilson.
Prior to forming the band, the members each played and performed with prominent acts including Deep Purple, Jamiroquai, Ray Davies, The Waterboys, Jack Bruce, and even James Brown.
When the friends got together for a jam in 2011, everything they had experienced as sidemen and session men coalesced and The Temperance Movement was born.
They have achieved the sound of a band whose songwriting and musicianship have reached a rare kind of equilibrium.
The concert starts at 7pm. Tickets cost £16.50 from the box office on 0844 248 1588 or online at www.playhousewhitleybay.co.uk
