Two DJs from Whitley Bay are preparing to play at some of the biggest festivals in the UK.

Having already performed alongside The Chemical Brothers, 2ManyDJs and Pete Tong at the world famous Space Ibiza Opening Fiesta, Blackhall and Bookless – Christopher Blackhall and Christopher Bookless – will play at Beacons Festival on August 16, London’s SW4 on August 24, and Zoo Project Festival on August 30.

The duo will be alongside some of the world’s best house and techno talent, with a line-up featuring Carl Cox, Loco Dice and Eric Morillo.

The close friends are no strangers to the clubbing scene, as over the years the talented lads have played alongside some of the industry’s top-level talent such as Jaime Jones and Kerri Chandler.

Christopher Blackhall said: “For us, house and techno music has been a part of our lives since we were 13.

“We spent most of our teenage years immersed in house music, mastering our own distinct mix of house and techno sounds.”

Over the years, the duo have worked alongside some of the biggest and most respected high profile brands in underground house music including Hideout Festival, Channel Zoo, We Love and Circo Loco, and they have also turned their hand to producing their own tracks.

The single Ya Head, was released on Feburary 6, followed by Loose it Jays House on February 27.
