SO our ex-mayor Linda Arkley is not interested in Major John Harrison's 'Debate Challenge'.
As she says she'll be out and about on the doorsteps, listening to the people.

When she was in office why didn't she practice what she preaches instead of doing her utmost to close down or even pull down the Linskill Community Centre? Luckily enough she and her colleagues were voted out of office and like the song 'I'm still standing' the Linskill Centre survived.

I vote Conservative, always have done, except at the last local elections I voted Labour to help save the Linskill Centre. The centre is now up and running again and serving the people of North Shields and surrounding districts thanks to the support of local people.
