I WOULD have thought that after the thorough hiding her socialist colleagues received in the elections both local and nationally earlier this year that our omnipresent Councillor Muriel Green would have shown some greater degree of contrition towards the electorate! But no!
Our socialist scribe is up again with yet more ludicrous tosh as per her letter to this newspaper two weeks ago!

It seems difficult, nay nigh impossible to get through to this woman that her party has absolutely no democratic mandate in our town. In fact, if the truth be known, it has no real democratic mandate in North Tyneside, stop!

My simple message to Councillor Green is "please go away and take your second choice mayor with you. Because frankly, madam, you bore us!"

ROBERT PHILLIFENT
Duke Street, Whitley Bay.
