KEN WILSON, head of development, strategy and planning of North Tyneside Council, should stop dictating to us the residents what needs to be done about parking in our town.
What's the point of having an election if this employee over-rides councillors and the public?

Alan Moses and the shop keepers are more au fait with the situation and should be listened to, as should Heather Galpin in last week's News Guardian, regarding Park View.

We also have problems on Whitley Road, between Woolworths and Station Road. The roadway here is quite narrow so that if cars park on both sides then buses cannot get through. Can parking on one side only here be strictly enforced please?

CHARLES HALL
Wembley Avenue,
Whitley Bay.
