Health trust to showcase job vacancies
Virtual open days are being held for anyone interested in joining a health trust.
Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) is hosting the events to showcase a number of job opportunities in Northumberland and North Tyneside.
A leading provider of mental health and disability services, the Trust has a number of opportunities for consultant psychiatrists and speciality doctors.
The events – on February 18 and 25 from 1pm to 2.30pm – will give an insight into working in a Trust rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC.
There will be a chance to interact with local consultants from a range of specialities, as well as a question and answer session with the Chief Executive and senior managers.
The Trust has around 300 consultants and speciality doctors working in a wide variety of services including mental health, learning disability, neuro-rehabilitation, neuro-psychiatry and forensic services.
There are also specialist services for adults with refractory affective disorders, eating disorders, young people with affective disorders, psychotherapy services, neuropsychiatry, a mother and baby unit, and drug and alcohol services.
Dr Kedar Kale, Group Medical Director, at CNTW, said: “Our Trust has a strong culture of support, development and learning for all medical staff, from work experience students to consultants preparing for retirement.
“We are serious about supporting a diverse workforce that reflects our local community and are very much focused on being an inclusive and compassionate place to work.
“We would encourage anyone interested in working in our services to join one of our virtual open days.”
