Art exhibition celebrates the talent of sixth form students

Students, staff, parents and grandparents from Kings Priory School in Tynemouth were treated to a cultural evening last week of AS and A2 Level Art students.

The school drama studio was transformed into a professional looking gallery space with all walls lined with a range of paintings, prints, drawings and sculpture presented by each student as part of the final assessment and moderation process.

Head of the faculty of Music and the Arts, Geoff Dickson said, “This was a great celebration of our students’ creative and musical talent and a tribute to all staff involved in our newly formed faculty.”
