Tynemouth Fake Festival will be making a welcome return this summer.

Now in its third year, the event will take place on Saturday, May 3, at Percy Park Rugby Club.

This year’s line-up will include tributes to major bands The Killers, Queen and Stereophonics, as well as local support acts.

“We had an amazing time last year at Tynemouth Fake Festival and we’re really looking forward to another exciting year of delivering high quality music from professional tributes and fresh local talent, all wrapped up in an authentic festival experience,” said Bec Evans, the licensee holder of Tynemouth Fake Festival.

“The fake festivals have definitely captured the imagination of people in the region and we’ve been truly overwhelmed by the positive feedback we’ve received.

“As well as Tynemouth we also have Chester-le-Street planned again on August 2, and we’re looking to add a third north east location to the 2014 tour.”

Tickets for the Tynemouth event are priced from £16 and are available from www.fakefestivals.co.uk
