With only a few days to go until Tynemouth hosts the touring tribute festival, there are still a few tickets left to grab.
On Saturday, May4, Percy Park Rugby Club will transform into a music festival site with a huge marquee, main stage and an outside area with food and entertainment stalls.
“We can’t wait to return to Tynemouth as last year was such a buzz,” said Jez Lee, owner of Fake Festivals.
“This year we have a great line up for Tynemouth Fake Festival, including our tribute to Oasish who are just phenomenal.
“ Not only do they sound and look like the real thing, but also watch out for the attitude of Liam.”
The three main tribute acts to Oasis, Kasabian and Blondie – Oasish, Kazabian and Blondied – will be supported by local bands including BBC acclaimed The Longsands, Afterlife, The Panic Report, Victory Mansions and Saint and the Cynics.
Paul Higginson, aka Liam Gallagher of Oasish, said: “We had such a laugh on last year’s Fake Festival tour we can’t wait for this one.
“We are really pleased to be headlining at the first date on the 2013 tour.
“We headlined a few Fake Festivals last year and it was such a great atmosphere in the marquee.”
Tickets are still available for Tynemouth Fake Festival either from the website or various regional outlets.
