A London-based author has turned to the north east to help promote her latest book.
Andrea Aviet has written White Sorrow, which is based on her real life story of abuse and survival.
She has written the book to motivate others to see what is happening behind closed doors, hoping to inspire women in the same situation to save themselves and to raise funds for the charity Refuge.
Deciding to self-publish so she could keep control of what is so important to her, Andrea appointed Whitley Bay-based Get Brindled, an agency run by Antonia Brindle that specialises in PR, social media and online content.
UK Book Publishing, based in Whitley Bay, has been appointed to design the book cover, edit, print and publish the book across a variety of platforms.
Owner Dan Brady said: “We were delighted to work with Andrea as her story is a harrowing, real account of a nightmare many people must live through.
“It is inspirational and motivational and we wish her luck once it is released later this month.”
Gateshead-based film production company Your Film was chosen to produce six trailers to promote the book.
White Sorrow is released later this month.
