The 32-year-old was inspired to hold the Baxter Barberthon at his Newcastle Coast Road shop, which will take place between 8am on Sunday and 8am on Monday, after Godson Jacob Elliott, now aged two, suffered a rare heart defect in utero and spent time in a special unit at the RVI.

Anyone can book a slot in the charity chair by calling Naomi at MN Events and Occasions on 07976 957460‬.

Tom said: “I won’t be charging anything, but it goes without saying that we will be twisting people’s arms to part with some cash – with every penny raised going to the Tiny Lives Trust.”
