Colourful food giveaways at Hungry Horse pubs to celebrate the summer holidays.

The Walls End, a Hungry Horse pub on Middle Engine Lane, is celebrating the school holidays by giving away free rainbow veggie sticks from Tuesday (August 2) until Sunday (August 7).

Local families can quote the code word, ‘rainbow’, when ordering from the new kids’ menu to receive the healthy dish on the house.

The pub will also be going the extra mile to help brighten up the holidays for one lucky family by giving away a family holiday for the most colourful summery selfie.

Steven Foster, general manager at the Walls End, said: “Summer is our favourite time of year, but we all know how unpredictable the British weather can be. We wanted to make sure we brighten up the holidays for families come rain or shine, with a delicious and healthy giveaway for Wallsend’s most colourful kids.

“As well as free food, what better way to celebrate the start of summer than with a holiday for the whole entire family? We can’t wait to see some of the brightest and most summery selfies that Wallsend has to offer.”

To be in with a chance of bagging the holiday, post a summery photo of the family on the Hungry Horse Facebook page before Monday, August 29.
