Borough comedian to take to stage at Fringe Festival

A TYNESIDE man is preparing for a stint at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a warm up gig at a Whitley Bay pub.

The preview show, upstairs at The Black Horse, Monkseaton, on Friday, July 29, is free entry and non-ticketed – so the audience can simply turn up on the night where it will be first come first served basis for seats.

Matt Selman is an award winning street performer and also runs improvisation workshops in Newcastle and Ian works a as a full time presenter for Bingo Studio Live.

They have worked together for the past five years as part of the On The Spot Improvised Comedy troupe but this is Matt and Ian’s first venture as a double-act and they are hoping to impress audiences with their silliness, quick wit and eagerness to ensure that everyone has a jolly good time.
