Two branches of Leeds Building Society have unveiled their fresh new look.
The Whitley Bay and North Shields sites closed for five days for a major refurbishment.
And last week they were officially re-opened by Mayor Norma Redfearn, who was delighted to see first hand the new look branches while visitors were treated to light bites and refreshments.
A spokesman for Leeds Building Society said: “We have taken on board customers’ feedback and Leeds Building Society is currently refurbishing all of its branches in the network.
“We are updating the entire inside and are making our enquiry areas more private for our customers.
“The branch will have a more up to date feel and we have already had some fantastic feedback from customers.”
